Accessible E-book Creation-Webinar

Webinar on accessible E-book creation to create Self-employment opportunities by Mr. Kumaresan, Outreach and training consultant [South India ] in book share on 21st January, 2023 was held at KVF Guindy centre. A total of 15 candidates participated in the webinar.

To illustrate the necessary skills for preparing Accessible E-book production.
To explain and demonstrate the process of accessible E-book creation.
Discuss about the tools required and methods for creating accessible E-books.
Creating employment opportunity for the trainees on accessible E-books.

Distribution-cum-Orientation Program for Children with Visual Impairment

Distribution-cum-Orientation Program on computer operations for freshers and felicitation of children with Visual impairment for their contribution at curious minds, Science program, Conducted by Vividha Trust(Bangalore). This program was held on January 7th, 2023 at KVF Guindy centre.

Honour the STEM trainees who participated in the math and science exhibition of Vividha curious minds program.
Distribute and orient the technology devices to ICT trainees to carry out academic routines.

Karna Vidya Foundation, Rotary club of blossom, Madurai in association with St. Joseph higher secondary school for the Visually Impaired, Paravai, Madurai initiated Tech-based skill training centre for the students with Visual Impairment pursuing classes from 6th standard to 8th standard to empower them on technical skill to meet the academic requirements.

Training Centre in Ambattur for Students with Visual Impairment

Karna vidya foundation opened a centre at Anandam Trust Ambattur. The centre
is conducting training in STEM courses to visually impaired school children.

Computer Training Centre for Students with Visual Impairment

Computer Training Centre for students with visual impairment at Ambattur started with seven participants. The children are trained on Introduction to Computers, Parts of Computer and Keyboard Orientation with Screen Reading software for carrying out academic and personal routines.

Computer Training for Grade 12 Students

Valedictory function of short-term training on computer literacy and distribution of course completion certificates for 12th grade passed out school students with Visual Impairment at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education Centre, Krishnankovil.

Forty 12th grade passed out students with visual impairment participated in the training that involved enhancing their abilities in operating basic computer, mobile, English communication, Life skill, personality development and career guidance to pursue their higher education with utmost confidence.

Visually Impaired Training Centre in Palayamkottai

Technology based skill training centre was inaugurated at the Higher Secondary School for the Visually impaired, Palayamkottai on 16th May 2023.

Computer training centre for students with visual impairment

This centre is aimed at enhancing the welfare and empowerment of students with visual impairment. This centre was started with ten visually impaired participants for technology training.
