Karna vidya foundation opened a centre at Anandam Trust Ambattur. The centre is conducting training in STEM courses to visually impaired school children.

Computer Training Centre for students with visual impairment at Ambattur started with seven participants. The children are trained on Introduction to Computers, Parts of Computer and Keyboard Orientation with Screen Reading software for carrying out academic and personal routines.

Valedictory function of short-term training on computer literacy and distribution of course completion certificates for 12th grade passed out school students with Visual Impairment at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education Centre, Krishnankovil.
Forty 12th grade passed out students with visual impairment participated in the training that involved enhancing their abilities in operating basic computer, mobile, English communication, Life skill, personality development and career guidance to pursue their higher education with utmost confidence.
Discussions initiated for resuming Information Communication Technology Training for college students with visual impairment. Ten college going students participated in the training meet held at Sara Tucker College for Women, Tirunelveli.
