- Drishti began its journey with District level volleyball tournament for visually impaired youth during March 2012.
- With the motto to Empower the sportsmen, The tournament was organized at Loyola college ground.
- 9 teams across the state participated with an incredible spirit and proved their sportsmanship.
- It was inaugurated by the physical director, Loyola college. The valedictory function was graced by Mr. MS. Nagarajan and other well-wishers of the club.
